Is 32 bit or 64 bit you use ?

  • BelieveNoGod:

I assebled a new machine, for my oldest daughter. And by a mistake I ordered the 32bit version of Win 7.

But after having tried it a bit, I realized, that she wont be needing the 64 bit version just yet.
As you mention it’s real smooth.
I run 1080p vids from U-tube without any lag, or glitches at all. (I got a good line though. 12Mb.)

And that’s with the onboard gfx card, the radeon 4200. It got 40 shaders, is it ?. Same as the 2400 series cards, and the 3450 cards.

  • pilboy123:

Thanks man you have convinced me to get Home Premium, as you have stated how good it is. Thanks :D

Plus I have XP now so it should be a good solution.

  • jemsley:

yes this is home premium…and the reason you dont have aero(the glass effect) is becasue your computer is probably old and does not support this effect, i had the same problem on my old pc, so i got new laptop and it works great.

  • Mahdjikeroz:

is that really a windows 7 home premium???

I have one of it but it dosent have a glass effect like yours, there’s also no Aero on it…

  • 1ceECo1d:

use camtasia recorder its free.. and its the best

  • 1ceECo1d:

yeah it would work just fine with that, my friends has a netbook with 1gb of ram and 50 gb of hd and it runs smooth on it

  • supermanizgay:

i’m not gonna use any internet on it at all on it, if that helps.

  • supermanizgay:

will it work with an amd athlon 2850e processor, 2 gigs of ram, and a 320gb hard drive?

my parents got me a computer with those specs for christmas with 7 already installed but can you tell me if i need to buy any new parts?

  • 123hollygrove:

I torrented Windows 7 Utimate, is it possible, I lose ANY DATA. I mean I do lose ANYTHING . I really dont wanna lose any of my music….I have like 24GB of Music. And I dont wanna lose it , but I might still upgrade because, I;m getting a new 160GB iPod this week, and I can store my Music on it, and then later transfer it from my iPod back to my iTunes, if any music is lost. The rest I really dont care bout.

  • Tako400000:

Can you please post your computer specs?

  • purplemint11:

I dont have aero on my windows 7 home premium huhuhu I only have 512 mb

  • donkeydeakin:

i was going to back up all my data and make a list of all my programs anyway. i think i might just clear and reload.

  • metalmanazer:

@donkeydeakin no it deletes everything except internet so make sure you have a backup. i put 7 on mine and it erased it

  • donkeydeakin:

    yep alright now, cheers :)

  • layerofdoom:

it should keep your data, as for example all of you installed programs. the work files should also be saved. if its from vista, cause its the same UI i believe. tell me if you still dont understand ;)

  • donkeydeakin:

thanks for replying, but it didn’t answer my question :)

  • layerofdoom:

    nice wallpaper ;)

  • layerofdoom:
